Supply Chain Project Manager

Job Description

Morgan McKinley are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Project Manager to join an expanding supply chain team in Dublin.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain within the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of successfully leading global projects from inception to completion. The candidate should possess excellent project management skills, including the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute projects within established timelines and budgets. Additionally, strong presentation skills and a PMP certification are required for this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Lead and manage global supply chain projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all project objectives are met within specified timelines and budget constraints.
* Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams, including supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project timelines and deliverables.
* Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders through regular meetings, presentations, and written reports.
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues and escalate concerns as needed to ensure timely resolution.
* Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize supply chain processes and minimize supply chain risks.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Key requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years of experience leading global projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
* PMP certification required.
* Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes, including manufacturing, distribution, and logistics.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and monitor complex projects.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience working with cross-functional and global teams, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration.
