TITLE OF VACANCY:

Senior Project Manager, Incentive Department - Dublin Based

The core objective of this position is to design spectacular client proposals and then work with the client on the journey from the program being signed off be the client to final delivery of the program and any subsequent follow up. The role also extends to assisting Sales and other Project Managers in proposing and delivery of their assigned programs.

CORE DUTIES INCLUDE:

 

* Preparation and presentation of client proposals for Business Meetings, Incentives and Events – this also include liaising with the client to ensure that the business is won for Ireland and in particular Moloney & Kelly.
* Development of the costing models for confirmed programmes, including, where appropriate, securing supplier services for the programme and the negotiation of rates for those services. This also extends to all invoicing and including finalising client invoicing and file reconciliation post program completion.
* Take part in site inspection trips and where appropriate represent Moloney & Kelly on company led familiarisation visits
* Operating confirmed programmes including communicating with the overseas client and product suppliers – this will also include on site work during the operation of client programmes
* Assisting colleague Project Managers where necessary
* Assisting Sales with Proposals, costs, and presentations
* Any agreed sales and marketing activities, either in Ireland or in the overseas marketplace. This could take the form of either desk-based activities or direct agent/client sales trips.
* Full utilisation of the Tourplan system to generate all client quotations and subsequent follow up, also ensuring that the confirmed proposal is accurately reflected in Tourplan
* Manage and maintain the CRM database, including setting up new accounts, inputting detailed meeting and telephone call notes and managing opportunities.
* General office administration duties
* Supervision and support of any staff/trainees assigned to the Incentive Department.
* May have to work evening and weekends
* Any other duties as assigned from time to time by your Manager or Director (and this could be in another Department within the Group).
* Support with marketing activities within the incentive department including managing social media accounts, putting together content for ezines etc.
* Assisting the Abbey Group with its environmental and responsible tourism initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

* Fluency in verbal and written English
* Excellent knowledge of Ireland as an Incentive destination
* Ability to meet agreed timelines/deadlines
* Motivated self-starter with a passion for client care plus a commitment to delivering services to the highest level
* Good team player with excellent communication skills who demonstrates pro-activeness and initiative and a willingness to assist colleagues
* Willingness to travel – both in Ireland and also to the overseas markets

Desirable:

* Full driver license (not required but would be beneficial for the role)
