Job Title: Agile Scrum Master

Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid Work Model)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Level: Mid-Senior Level

Key Responsibilities:

* Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
* Ensure the scrum team adheres to Scrum principles, practices, and rules.
* Act as a servant leader and coach to the team, helping to remove impediments to the team’s progress.
* Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team.
* Liaise between the team and other departments to enhance communication and transparency.
* Monitor project performance through Scrum metrics and project management tools.
* Foster an environment of continuous improvement and team empowerment.
* Ensure the team delivers high-quality products and services in line with organizational goals.
* Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certification.
* At least 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within the insurance or financial services industry.
* Proven ability to facilitate meetings at multiple levels of an organization and to adapt approach in a dynamic environment.
* Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with agile project management tools.

Desirable Skills:

* Experience in a hybrid work environment.
* Additional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications.
* Understanding of risk management in the insurance industry.
