The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background from a third level institution, combined with extensive technical experience and a keen understanding of commercial dynamics within the construction industry.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the project, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while effectively managing all stakeholders involved.
This project will be for a duration of at least 18 months and there is a strong pipeline of more work within the location thereafter.

Responsibilities:
1. * Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications.
* Monitor progress regularly and implement adjustments to project plans as needed to ensure on-time completion.
2. * Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project expenses without compromising quality.
3. * Establish quality control processes and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments to identify and address any issues promptly.
4. * Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.
* Proactively address any issues that may arise during the course of the project to ensure smooth operations.
5. * Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
* Foster positive relationships and communication channels to facilitate effective collaboration and problem-solving.
6. * Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, direction, and support as needed to ensure high performance and accountability.
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable third level institution in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
* Proven track record of at least 5 years in residential project management, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
* Strong technical expertise in construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
* Demonstrated commercial awareness and proficiency in budgeting, cost management, and procurement processes.
* Solid understanding of project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
* Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) are highly desirable.
