Morgan McKinley is proud to collaborate with an esteemed client in Cork, currently seeking an accomplished Project Manager to join their IT Project Management Team. As an IT Project Manager, you'll take charge of driving projects forward and ensuring successful outcomes.

Role Overview: In this pivotal role, you will lead projects within the IT Project Management Team

reporting directly to the IT Project Planning Manager. Your primary focus will be on managing project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own the project lifecycle, from initiation to execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
* Define and manage project scope, success criteria, and acceptance criteria.
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitoring progress and identifying risks and issues.
* Estimate project costs, develop budgets, and monitor expenditures to ensure financial objectives are met.
* Foster a culture of quality within the project team, encouraging continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
* Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and third-party contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate project risks and issues.
* Manage project documentation, including Statements of Work and specifications.
* Continuously engage in professional development to stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
* Desired certifications include PMP or PRINCE2.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
* Minimum of 7 years' experience in project management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments.
* Experience managing vendor contracts and procurement processes.
