We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The IT Project Manager will also define project objectives, oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions both internally and externally.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not restricted to the following:
Project Planning: Create comprehensive project plans delineating tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and interdependencies using Zoho Projects for both internal and external projects. Engage with stakeholders to establish clear project scope and objectives. Set and enforce standards for project execution and tracking across all business units. Take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring adherence to budget, scope, quality, and schedule parameters. Maintain real-time updates on task and project statuses, offering the organisation continual visibility into project progress and resource activities.

Line Manager: Directly overseeing the work of the Projects team or department, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure objectives are met. Facilitating communication within the team, conveying organisational goals and expectations, and serving as a liaison between upper management and employees. Evaluating employee performance, setting goals, providing feedback, and addressing any performance issues. Allocating resources effectively, such as assigning tasks, managing workloads, and ensuring the team has the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
Execution & Monitoring: Lead project teams in the execution of tasks, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as required.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans when required. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise strategies for resolution.

Communication: Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, communicating project objectives, risks, and successes. Foster a collaborative and communicative environment within the project team.

Resource Management: Allocate project resources appropriately, ensuring the right skills are in place. Work with resource managers to identify and secure necessary resources.

Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain project quality standards, conducting regular reviews. Ensure that deliverables meet or exceed quality standards.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk logs and status reports. Prepare and present project reports to management. Manage the transition and handover from "Project" to Support.

Project Review: Evaluate the overall success and performance of projects and discuss the challenges and achievements to improve future projects by adjusting the processes and strategies where necessary. Essentially, gaining insights from our shortcomings or draw lessons from our errors in a bid for continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Relevant 3rd-level qualification in Business, IT or related discipline.
Project Management qualification required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Project Management.
Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering projects related to Managed Services, Microsoft's entire suite of Cloud services, Bespoke Security Solutions and Connectivity.
Solid understanding of project management life cycle and project management methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in project management tools and software.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects at one time.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly establish a trusted working relationship with a broad range of stakeholders.
A consultative approach to work autonomously as required.
