Enterprise Solutions Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to take on complete responsibility and accountability for a new project relating to expand the existing public transport network, and to make the existing and planned fixed route public transport network more accessible for more rural communities across the country.

As the Enterprise Solution Architect, you will provide leadership and direction, ensuring the solution aligns with our enterprise architecture design and methodologies. You will collaborate with other architects and IT stakeholders to ensure solution alignment, while also acting as a business liaison and driving accountability with our suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership and direction to the entire SDRT Project, focused on Solution / solution elements

• Establish and oversee the adoption of the department’s vision, goals and objectives at all levels.

• Align solution design with Authority Enterprise Architecture Design and methodologies.

• Liaise with other architects and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of the solution.

• Quality Assure the overall implementation of the technical solution underpinning the Finance Solution

• Make sure High Level and Low Level Design meet the client company's standards.

• Stake holder management across the company and a diverse supplier ecosystem

• Prioritizing of solution delivery elements to maximise business outcomes

• Evangelizes the importance of the digital experience to the overall performance of the SDRT System.

• Advocates, mentors and guides stakeholders on realistic adoption outcomes from the Finance solution technology investment

• Challenges solution options and delivery options for the SDRT Solution set

• Quality assures the key aspects of solution design including:

o Security design compliance

o GDPR compliance

o Solution manageability & maintainability

o Solution robustness, availability & performance

o Integration (BI etc)

o Data Migration

• Provides and challenges business cases for further integration of Solution with upstream / downstream solutions

• Undertake research, provide leadership and guidance on latest trends and best practices on SDRT tools and technologies including but not limited to:

o Knowledge Management

o APIs

o RPA

o Cloud native SaaS Solutions

• Accountable for the successful delivery of all Workstreams within the assigned Pillar

• Act as an initial point of escalation for the Workstreams within the Pillar

• Act as an Key point of contact for Workstream leads

• Ensure there is a detailed plan agreed with BAU, Project Director & PM for all Workstreams within assigned Pillar

• Ensure there is an approved scope of work for each Workstream prior to kick off the Workstream

Candidate requirements

• STEM degree qualified

• Evidenced advanced certifications and qualifications in technologies or similar SaaS solutions

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus.

•Significant hands on experience working with one of the main Cloud environments i.e. Azure, AWS, Google

•Proficiency in integration technologies such as business intelligence (BI).

• Familiarity with data migration strategies.

• Familiarity with knowledge management, APIs, RPA, and cloud-native SaaS solutions.
