We have a requirement for a Project Manager with some Bsiness Analyst skills for a client in the Environmental management sector. In this role you will work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify the business requirements and translate into specifications for the team.

It is expected over next number of years the client will see large business growth and operational change in support of Ireland's climate policy ambition and objective. With interesting and rewarding technology projects to be completed.

Experience/Competencies/Skillsets include;

* Demonstrate ability to lead and motivate others; ability to empathise and knowledge of personality types.
* Demonstrate familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Project Management Institute, PRINCE2 and agile approaches).
* Demonstrate sensitivity to working in a political environment and to interacting with senior leadership.
* Demonstrate knowledge of project-planning tools (MS Project, Azure DevOps).
* Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrate expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
* Demonstrate distinctive blend of business, IT, and communication skills. This blend is vital because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact.
* Demonstrate effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
* Demonstrate effective negotiation and management skills in an environment where development is done by 3rd party vendors.
* Demonstrate ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures that the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time.
* Demonstrate experience in managing internal and external (3rd party vendor relationship) teams.
* Demonstrate experience and ability in using "soft skills" or "people skills"

Qualifications required:

* Bachelor's degree in science (or a related field) and equivalent IT experience.
* Project manager training and certification (PMI/PRINCE) highly desirable.
